"Yes, she just had back surgery. So we really spent two full months in the hospital. After my wife, then it was my turn. We really didn't leave the hospital at all, just stayed in the hospital," said Marshel.

"I also, when he was sick, accompanied him every day. So if there was work, we wouldn’t take it because this was really a golden time when I could talk to my wife in the hospital; it was really a nice staycation," he explained.

The 27-year-old comedian shared that the communication established during their time in the hospital was very enjoyable and of high quality. They learned to understand each other more deeply, including how to calm anger and provide comfort when one party is upset.

"All this time we couldn’t talk heart to heart, so we ended up being able to talk in the hospital. It’s really true that after the storm there’s a rainbow; it was really nice. So now we finally understand what my wife meant back then, and how I was back then," added Marshel.

Marshel took advantage of that exclusive moment together to plan enjoyable things for their small family after recovery. He feels very grateful to have a partner who is willing to embrace him during the lowest points in his life.

"It was very exclusive and a moment of surrender, it was really enjoyable. I know what I need to do when I get angry. When we are talking and she gets angry, well, what should I do," concluded Marshel with a tone full of gratitude.
