Nikita Mirzani's Second Eid Behind Bars, Remains Strong Despite Cassation Denial

This marks the second year for the outspoken artist to spend the day of victory away from the warmth of her home and children. The situation is further complicated as her cassation request regarding the criminal case against her was officially denied by the Supreme Court around the same time.

The family and legal team revealed that, as a human being, Nikita certainly feels a deep disappointment. As a mother, she certainly hopes to be with her family during Eid. However, in the midst of this difficult situation, Nikita Mirzani shows a side of her strength that amazes many people.

"We, as legal advisors, are in an effort... after the cassation ruling, we have discussed a lot with our client, Nikita Mirzani. Indeed, as a human being, she is very disappointed with the cassation ruling. But that disappointment doesn't last long. We see it as legal advisors, Nikita Mirzani is a strong woman," said Marulitua Sianturi when met at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday (30/3/2026).

1. Continue to Carry Out Worship and Id Prayer

During her time in the detention center on Eid day, Nikita continued to carry out worship activities like other inmates. She participated in the Id prayer and interacted well with other detainees. Although her body was limited behind bars, the support from family who came to visit became a remedy for Nikita's longing on that holy day.

"What I know is that we haven't gone there yet. But up to this point, her condition is fine. There are also family members who have gone there to wish her a Happy Eid al-Fitr. And Nikita is doing well with the other defendants there who are celebrating Eid al-Fitr, performing the Id prayer there. So, everything is in good condition, and the family has also visited her," said Marulitua.

2. Stay Optimistic in Facing Legal Proceedings

The legal counsel also added that Nikita did not take long to regain her spirit. Upon hearing the news of the cassation decision, she was indeed shocked, but quickly refocused and remained optimistic in facing the next legal steps. For her, the struggle for justice is not over even though the path seems increasingly steep.

"Indeed, humanly speaking, she is disappointed with the cassation. But we see that the disappointment doesn't last long. She recovers quickly, and when many things have been conveyed, we are confident, we remain optimistic in taking the next legal steps," said Marulitua again.

3. Nikita Mirzani Has a Strong Mentality

Many are wondering how Nikita Mirzani is getting through these tough times. The legal team emphasizes that the strong mentality possessed by their client is the main key to why Nikita can still smile in front of her family even though she may be struggling internally with the legal reality she faces.

"As a human being, it’s only natural to feel disappointed. This is a moment for her where she will give birth, hasn’t she? Yes, this second moment is Idul Fitri, which she hopes to celebrate with her children. So, when there’s a cassation decision that is truly beyond expectations, it’s normal to feel disappointed. It’s human nature to feel disappointed," she concluded.
