"Well, basically there was no trigger, I just wanted to be honest with myself. It just turned out that way," Yumi told Kapanlagi.com, not long ago.

"But they don't dare to speak up, because after that, it's the pressure that you have to bear. We can't help bear it, it's just ourselves, our own awareness," added Yumi.

Yumi explained that she admitted to liking the same gender not because of coercion from others or from her own partner, Chika. She made this confession because she wanted to live a more honest life.

"It's like Chika herself wants it, if she doesn't want it, then people can't force her to say 'you have to tell Chika'. It's not possible. For me, it's like how tired I am of living a double life compared to accepting criticism from netizens. So, I just decided to be honest," said Yumi.

"As for friends, there is no (criticism), because my friends, usually my best friends, already know that I am bisexual. Yumi seems to be too, especially since Yumi came out first. It's all good. As for family matters, that's just how it is," Chika concluded.
