Chikita Meidy Sends a Legal Notice to Her Friend, Requests Her Good Name to be Restored or She Will File a Police Report

Kapanlagi.com - Former child singer, Chikita Meidy, stated that she has sent a legal notice to her friend, Shilda Oktavia Rosa. This is related to a report made by her friend at Polda Metro Jaya on September 12, 2024.

"The content of the legal notice states that we invite Shilda Oktavia Rosa to clarify what she reported at Polda," said Adam Barkah Setiadi, Chikita's legal team in the Ampera area, South Jakarta, on Friday (27/9/2024).

Unfortunately, after waiting, the legal notice sent did not receive any response from Shilda Oktavia Rosa. Therefore, Chikita and her legal team will issue a second legal notice.

"Yes, I really regret that, so now I am just waiting for good intentions from Silda before I issue my second legal notice," she said.

If in the end Shilda Oktavia Rosa still does not respond to the second summons that was sent, Chikita will take a firm stance. They will bring this matter to the legal realm by filing a counter-report.

"If we have sent the second summons but there is no response, no answer at all, then we will be forced to take legal action with that counter-report," Adam asserted.

One of the things that makes Chikita furious is that her friend immediately filed a police report against her without following the proper procedures. As a result, Chikita has suffered many losses after the report.

"It sounds funny to feel like one’s reputation is being tarnished when in fact the allegation of defamation is actually bombarding me," Chikita asserted.

"Maybe friends can see the many losses that have been left behind due to our issue, that’s about all I can convey," Chikita added.

2. Request to Restore Good Name

What Chikita requested from her friend was to restore her good name. If not, after the deadline for the second summons expires, she will report Shilda Oktavia Rosa to the police.

"Article 27 of the ITE Law, along with Article 311 and 310 of the Criminal Code, carries a threat of six years if it falls under the ITE Law," concluded Reqi Endar Wijanarko, Chikita's legal team at the same location.

Chikita Meidy, in the report made against Shilda Oktavia Rosa, is accused under Article 310 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with 27A in conjunction with Article 45 Paragraph 4 of the ITE Law number 1 of 2024. The threat of punishment under that article is two years in prison and a fine of Rp 400 million.
