Creator of the Legendary Series 'LOSMEN' Tatiek Maliyati Nostalgic Watching the Film Version Starring Maudy Koesnaedi

Kapanlagi.com - LOSMEN is a series that became the forerunner of soap operas on Indonesian television stations. During its airing in the 80s, this show, directed and written by Tatiek Maliyati and the late Wahyu Sihombing, was a huge success.

Twenty years later, Paragon Pictures and Ideasource Entertainment made a film version of the series titled LOSMEN BU BROTO. This modern version stars Maudy Koesnaedi, Mathias Muchus, Putri Marino, and Maudy Ayunda.

Last Friday (5/11), Tatiek Maliyati was invited to watch the film version with the cast of LOSMEN BU BROTO. After watching, the 86-year-old woman appeared to be very satisfied with the result.

"The previous losmen, and now this one is also losmen, but we are in different times, so they cannot be compared. The previous one was good, and the current one is also good," said Tatiek Maliyati when met in Central Jakarta.

1. Bringing Nostalgia in Serial Version

Furthermore, Tatiek Maliyati said that when watching the film version, she felt nostalgic. Because there are some things that are still preserved.

"I can enjoy watching this. Because there is a kind of nostalgia," said Tatiek, who still looks fresh and fit even though sitting in a wheelchair.

The LOSMEN series, which first appeared on TVRI in 1985, tells the story of the joys and sorrows of Bu Broto in running a family business in the form of a losmen. In the modern version, Ifa Isfansyah and Eddie Cahyono as directors made a reboot remake because it tells the story when Bu Broto just started running his losmen business.
