Denise Chariesta Asserts Uya Kuya's House is the Result of Hard Work Before Becoming a Member of the DPR

Denise Chariesta expressed her sympathy for Uya Kuya by sending three flower arrangements to his house in Duren Sawit, East Jakarta on Tuesday (2/9/2025). This action was taken after Uya's residence was looted by a mob some time ago.

Denise emphasized that Uya Kuya's magnificent house is the result of his hard work in the entertainment industry for a long time. She rejected the notion that the house was obtained from a political position.

"Yeah. And in my opinion, Uya has owned that house since he became an artist, right, before becoming a member of the DPR. Uya only became a member of the DPR for less than a year, as far as I remember," Denise said during a virtual press conference on Tuesday (2/9/2025).

"Moreover, that house is the result of Uya's hard work during his years as an artist. Finally, he could have a house like that," Denise explained.

There are three flower arrangements sent by Denise to Uya Kuya's house. One of the flower arrangements he sent also carried a similar message.

The message reads, "This house existed before Uya Kuya became a member of parliament. This house is the result of Uya's work as an artist."

Denise believes it is very unfortunate if her friend's long struggle is tarnished by the looting incident.

For her, it is completely unfair to someone who has worked hard. "The ones looting Uya's house are not protesting; that's looting, it's different, dude," Denise emphasized.
