In response to this, Sarwendah's attorney, Chris Sam Siwu, firmly denied the accusation that his client is making it difficult for Ruben to meet their children. According to him, there has never been an effort to close off access for the father to meet his children.
Chris explained that communication regarding the children's meetings should be flexible. He believes that delays in message replies should not be used as a basis to conclude that access is being restricted.
According to Chris, the issue of text messages not being replied to immediately should not escalate into a prolonged controversy.
"It's not like sending a text message one or two times, and then because it wasn't replied to immediately due to busyness, it's suddenly said to be complicated for months. That's a bit funny. But I don't want to make the situation worse. Let's improve going forward," he said.
Chris also responded to the presence of close people who accompany the children. For him, as long as their presence brings positive impact and affection, it should not be an issue.
"The love from others is supplementary, but it can never replace the position of their biological father or mother. So let’s just improve the communication relationship between the father and mother for the sake of the children," he concluded.
