Difficult to Sell Assets, Ruben Onsu Grateful for Jhon LBF's Help in Resolving Legal Case

Ruben Onsu candidly spoke about the financial difficulties he experienced that led him to deal with the police regarding an investment fund of IDR 3.5 billion. The father of three admitted that he had been trying to sell some of his assets to settle obligations to the complainant. However, the difficult market conditions made it hard for those assets to sell quickly as needed.

"But in this process, I am also trying to sell assets, selling this, that, you know. But there are indeed some urgent matters that need to be resolved immediately," said Ruben Onsu when met in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Monday (31/8/2026).

The difficulties were finally resolved thanks to the help of Jhon LBF, who was willing to cover the principal investment payment. Ruben shared that he often discussed late into the night with Jhon to find the best solution.

"Yes, in the end, it was Bang Jon who tried before I finished, before the asset I sold was already bought, there was already someone who bought it, so I had to finish what was here first," explained Ruben Onsu.

Ruben also revealed that in this era, it is very difficult to find buyers for assets who can act quickly in the transaction process. He feels lucky to have a friend like Jhon LBF who is willing to lend a hand without many conditions in critical times.

"If the asset I am selling could be realized quickly, it shouldn't be like this, right? But in this current era, it's difficult. That's why it's hard for us to sell quickly," said Ruben again.

Although he had to go through a difficult process, Ruben Onsu tries to take the positive side from this incident. He does not want to blame anyone for the police report that briefly made him a suspect at the South Jakarta Police."But for me, this has become a very valuable lesson," concluded Ruben Onsu.
