Erika Carlina's Side Denies Proposing Odd Conditions, Claims DJ Panda Initiated Peace Request

The mediation process between Erika Carlina and DJ Panda has been colored by various speculations, including reports that Erika's side proposed certain conditions that made peace negotiations difficult. In response, Erika Carlina's legal team firmly denied this.

Mohammad Faisal, Erika's attorney, clarified that they have never proposed any subjective or odd conditions. On the contrary, they are actually in a position waiting for a concrete offer from DJ Panda's side.

"From Erika's side, it does not lead to any requirements that are subjective in nature," asserted Mohammad Faisal when met at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Friday (14/11/2025).

Faisal also clarified that the initiative to hold Restorative Justice (RJ) or mediation purely came from DJ Panda's side as the reported party, not from Erika as the victim.

"We must clarify that what is referred to as RJ must initially come from the reported party, not the victim. After all, if it's the victim, why would they want to reconcile? That's roughly how it is," he explained.

According to him, the protracted mediation process in the first meeting was caused by DJ Panda's side not yet submitting a written peace proposal. The proposal was only submitted at the second meeting, where Erika was unable to attend.

Now, Erika's legal team will study the contents of the proposal. Faisal leaked that one of the main points in the proposal is an apology from DJ Panda for his actions.

"If the hints related to the substance of the proposal are how it is in the narrative presented by the aforementioned party, that the individual requests an apology for such actions that have been reported to the Metro Police," he revealed.

This case itself began when Erika Carlina, in her ninth month of pregnancy, felt threatened by DJ Panda's actions of spreading her personal data. As a result, DJ Panda was reported for alleged threats and violations of the ITE Law and the Personal Data Protection Law.
