Erin Wartia Still Abroad, Rp1 Billion Mediation Hearing Postponed

The mediation hearing for the civil case worth Rp1 billion involving Rien Wartia Trigina alias Erin and her former housekeeper, Nur Rohmah, at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (5/8/2026) has been postponed. The postponement occurred because both the plaintiff and the defendant were absent, thus the mediation process could not be conducted optimally.

"Today is the first mediation hearing. Thank you to the press colleagues. We would like to inform you that today is the first mediation hearing," said Adil when met at the South Jakarta District Court, Ragunan, on Wednesday (29/7/2026).

1. Reasons for Absence and Erin's Status

Erin's attorney, Adil, explained that both principals—both from the plaintiff and the defendant—were unable to attend the mediation agenda due to their respective commitments. In the midst of this absence, Nur Rohmah's side has submitted a peace proposal document to Erin's legal team.

"The parties, whose principals are unable to attend today, both from the plaintiff and also from our client, the defendant. Because the concerned party has other matters to attend to," he said.

Regarding Erin's whereabouts, Adil confirmed the information that his client is currently abroad. He added that so far, they have not received further clarification regarding the details of Erin's activities while there.

"The information is like that (still abroad). The reason might be due to some engagements, we don’t know yet, we will clarify it with our client first," he revealed.

2. Rescheduled Mediation Agenda at South Jakarta District Court

The absence of the parties made the mediation agenda unable to proceed optimally. The court will reschedule the meeting to give the plaintiff and the defendant a chance to find common ground through the mediation process at the South Jakarta District Court.

Adil mentioned that the mediator requested the direct presence of the parties at the next mediation stage. He emphasized that he would convey the mandate and directions from the mediator to his clients so that the next agenda can proceed in accordance with the applicable regulations.

"Earlier, the mediator required their presence because this is mediation, after all. We will inform our clients later," Adil continued.

Meanwhile, Erin's legal counsel expressed hope that the legal process would proceed smoothly according to the procedure. The rescheduling will be communicated after the parties are ready to fulfill their obligation to attend the next mediation session.

3. Background of the Lawsuit: PMH, Psychological Trauma, and a Demand of Rp1 Billion

This case began with a lawsuit for Unlawful Acts (PMH) filed by Nur Rohmah. She claims to have experienced psychological trauma and has brought the matter to the civil court.

In her lawsuit, Nur Rohmah is demanding compensation of Rp1 billion. This amount has become the main point of contention, which is currently in the mediation phase in court.

Additionally, Nur Rohmah also claims that her former employer has withheld her salary and personal documents. All of these claims are now awaiting the next mediation process to seek resolution.
