Fachri Albar Divorced by Default, Custody of the Child Falls to Renata Kusmanto

Kapanlagi.com - The marriage of Fachri Albar and Renata Kusmanto officially ended in court. The couple, who married in 2014, were divorced by the Tigaraksa Religious Court on February 13, 2025. The divorce decision was made by default because Fachri Albar did not attend the trial. His absence was the reason the judge immediately ruled on the divorce petition filed by Renata.

"Granting the petition of the Plaintiff (Renata Kusmanto binti IR. Danny Kusmanto) by default," wrote the ruling in a copy from the MA Decision Directory, Wednesday (30/4/2025).

1. Child Custody Decision

In the ruling, the panel of judges also decided that the custody of their children would fall to Renata. Fachri and Renata are known to have two children from their marriage.

"It is determined that the children of the Plaintiff and the Defendant named River Syech Albar bin Fachri Albar, male, born in Jakarta, November 21, 2014, and Clover Satin Albar binti Fachri Albar, female, born in Jakarta, April 27, 2016, are under the Custody of the Plaintiff (Renata Kusmanto binti IR. Danny Kusmanto) as their Biological Mother," continues the content of the ruling.

2. Obligation to Support Children

Not only regarding custody, the judge also imposed an obligation on Fachri to cover the living expenses of both of his children. This obligation includes basic needs as well as educational and health needs.

"It is ordered that the Defendant (Fachri Albar bin Ahmad Albar) is required to finance the basic needs for clothing and food, educational expenses, as well as health costs and/or health insurance costs and other expenses for his two children in the amount of at least Rp 50,000,000,- (fifty million rupiah) each month," wrote the judge in the ruling.

3. Caught in a Drug Case

In the midst of his divorce process, Fachri Albar has also found himself entangled in a drug abuse case again. This marks the third time Fachri has dealt with the law due to the illicit substance. The star of the film Pengabdi Setan was arrested on Sunday (20/4/2025) in the Lebak Bulus area of South Jakarta.

"The results from the statement of Mr. FA using narcotics and psychotropics face his personal life and work," said the Metro Jakarta Barat Police Chief, Kombes Pol Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi, during the case release on Thursday (24/4/2025).

4. Unable to Face Life's Pressures

This situation adds to the burden amid the chaos of his household. Information from the police revealed that Fachri feels unable to cope with life's pressures.

"The results from the statement of Mr. FA using narcotics and psychotropics face his personal life and work," he explained.
