Fedi Nuril Is Not Worried About His New Film Being Boycotted by Buzzers, Says He Has Given His Best

After a huge success with his previous film, Bila Esok Ibu Tiada, which recorded 2.5 million viewers despite being boycotted by buzzers on social media, Fedi claims he is unfazed by the possibility of a similar situation.

"Not worried, it's proven by the previous film. Not worried, if accepted, then accepted," said Fedi when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (26/11/2024).

Fedi still believes that the quality of the work speaks louder than negative opinions on social media. Previously, the boycott against the film Bila Esok Ibu Tiada actually attracted public attention and contributed to the film's success.

Despite facing various challenges, both Fedi and Amanda are confident that this film will be well received by the audience. They hope this work can touch many hearts and deliver a meaningful message.

A similar view was expressed by Amanda Manopo, Fedi's co-star in 1 IMAM 2 MAKMUM. Amanda, who is also involved in BILA ESOK IBU TIADA, emphasized that a boycott has no effect if the work presented has quality and a good message.

"In my opinion, all sustenance is arranged by God, no matter what, as humans we can't do anything if God wants to give more, what can we do?" said Amanda.

The film 1 IMAM 2 MAKMUM tells the story of Arman's (Fedi Nuril) struggle with love, a widower who still cannot forget his late wife, Leila (Revalina S. Temat). On the other hand, Anika (Amanda Manopo) tries to win Arman's heart even though the man is still trapped in the shadows of his past.

This touching story is the main attraction of 1 IMAM 2 MAKMUM, which raises themes of loss, love, and second chances. Wrapped in stunning performances from the cast, this film is expected to be one of the most anticipated shows at the beginning of 2025.
