The reason behind this decision was directly revealed by her lawyer, Fahmi Bachmid, who stated that Nikita feels her criminal case involves the most fundamental issue, which is her life. According to Fahmi, his client wants to ensure all her energy is directed towards facing the charges that could impact her freedom.
"To all the friends who always follow the legal process against Nikita Mirzani and Ismail Marzuki, I personally express my gratitude on behalf of Nikita because she met with me yesterday, 'please convey to the friends, Bang, at the time you were in the Withdrawal Hearing of the Breach of Contract Lawsuit, say that I indeed requested and I want to focus on the criminal case because that is the most important, as it relates to my life, my freedom, and so forth,'" Fahmi Bachmid stated at the South Jakarta District Court, Monday (21/7/2025).
With the withdrawal of this civil lawsuit, Nikita and her legal team are now fully focused on the criminal trial. The hearing scheduled for Thursday is referred to as the most crucial agenda. Fahmi also leaked a bit about the upcoming criminal trial agenda.
"I thank all my friends. And next, that Thursday is the most important trial because that trial is a criminal case where the first to be brought in must be the victim according to criminal procedure law," he said.
Nikita's request has officially been granted by the South Jakarta District Court. The panel of judges has struck the gavel and issued a decree that legally ends the civil lawsuit number 489/Pdt.G/2025/PN JKT.SEL. The decision was read aloud by the presiding judge in the courtroom.
"Granting the plaintiffs' request regarding the withdrawal of the case. Two, declaring the civil case register number 489/Pdt.G/2025/PN JKT.SEL, which was received and registered at the South Jakarta District Court on May 16, 2025, is withdrawn," said the judge.
Fahmi Bachmid felt relieved because the withdrawal process went smoothly in accordance with legal corridors. He explained that since the trial is still in the early stages, the withdrawal can be done unilaterally by the plaintiff.
"You have heard earlier, there is a decree from the panel of judges where according to the panel of judges, under civil procedural law, the withdrawal can be done without the consent of the parties because there has been no response yet," Fahmi explained.
He could not hide his gratitude for the approval of this request. He assured that the civil case is now truly finished and will no longer be a burden for his client.
"And alhamdulillah it has been granted. Therefore, effective from today, case number 489, the breach of contract lawsuit is declared withdrawn and ended, and this is noted in the e-note SIPP that the case no longer exists," he said.
As a complement, the judge's decision also instructed the clerk to carry out administrative recording. In addition, the case costs amounting to Rp563,000 are also charged to Nikita Mirzani as the plaintiff.
