Indra Bekti Reveals Last Conversation with His Stepmother Before Passing Away

"Yes, the last conversation was actually just through WhatsApp, she reminded me. The last thing she told me was about an invitation to a wedding of our relative," said Indra Bekti at the funeral home in Radio Dalam, South Jakarta, Wednesday (29/1/2025).

Bekti also mentioned that he could not attend the wedding event. However, his mother still came and met with the extended family in good health.

"That was on January 14, and I said that I couldn't attend my sibling's event. My stepmother came to the event, met with all the relatives, and everything was fine. And a week later, Allah had other plans," he said.

Besides the last conversation, Bekti also had many unforgettable moments with the late one. One of them was when he participated in a fashion show competition.   "When I was competing in the fashion show, she liked to come, accompany me, bring my competition clothes, and keep me company like that," he said.  

Bekti's stepmother was always by his side during difficult times. Even when Bekti fell ill and experienced a separation from Dhila, she was the most caring figure.  

"She was one of those who cared a lot when I was sick. At that time, I had a separation from Mother Dhila. Now we are back together," he said.

"And here I am, back here again. Sometimes we would sleep together, with the late one. Sharing stories, making breakfast, food for us. Dinner was also made for me. That is unforgettable," Bekti added.

Not only that, Setro Partini was also present at Bekti's wedding. She helped take care of various needs for her son's wedding.   "When I got married again, she also came and took care of everything. There are so many memories with her," he said.
