Involve Kaesang Pangarep as the Voice Actor, Animated DVD 'KNIGHT KRISS' Released Bundling with Pororo Film

Kapanlagi.com - KNIGHT KRISS is an animation made by local filmmakers that was released in theaters in 2017. The production, directed by William Fajito and Antonius, involves Kaesang Pangarep, Deddy Corbuzier, and Chika Jessica as the voice actors.

Three years after its release in theaters, the story of Bayu can be watched again through home video format. Interestingly, the film is bundled with a South Korean animated film called PORORO'S: DINOSOUR ISLAND ADVENTURE.

1. Introducing Animation of Children of the Nation

Selling a home video containing two animated titles from two different countries is a unique thing. Arnold J Limasnax, as a representative of E-Motion Entertainment, admits to doing it on purpose so that children in Indonesia not only enjoy foreign animation but also become more familiar with animation created by children of the nation.

"I do want to promote local works. Why in this format? So that it becomes a variety of entertainment for children. So it's not just importing foreign animation," said Arnold during a press conference in the Ampera Raya area, South Jakarta, on Monday (29/3/2021).

2. Having Similarities

Combining KNIGHT KRISS and PORORO'S: DINOSAUR ISLAND ADVENTURE in one home video sold at KFC outlets turns out to be not arbitrary. Because in terms of the story, despite the differences in language and culture, they both have an adventure theme.

"Both are different but have the same common thread, which is adventure. So we combine these two characters," said Arnold, who previously successfully sold 500,000 copies of the AYO TAYO DVD.
