After Making a Superhero Movie, Director X.Jo is Ready to Release the Horror Thriller 'DON'T BE ALONE' in Theaters

In early April, the latest offering from X.Jo, who previously directed the superhero movie GARUDA, will be released. The horror thriller titled DON'T BE ALONE dares to present something different by not playing with typical ghost material, but by designing a demonic figure.

"A significant difference from other horror films is that the spread of horror, fear, or hysteria is not caused by classic ghost figures, but by demons with various modern characters," said Aji Fauzi, the producer, as quoted from a Whatsapp message received by KapanLagi.com on Friday (19/3/2021).

Furthermore, Aji Fauzi revealed that the movie DO NOT BE ALONE will take a different treatment. Unlike conventional horror films that often include dramatic elements and dialogues, this time there will be many terrifying sequences that cannot be predicted.

"This film minimizes the elements of drama and actor dialogues. It is certain that it will be filled with fresh and unpredictable horror scenes," he explained.

DO NOT BE ALONE, which will be released simultaneously in several ASEAN countries, tells the story of four friends named Sam, Boy, Anna, and Rubby who are terrorized by demons. This film stars David Jhon Schaap, Agatha Valerie, Jasi Michelle, Henry Boboy, and the late Robby Sugara.
