Kimberly Ryder Discusses Age-Difference Relationships, Using Luna Maya and Maxime Bouttier as Real-Life Examples

While attending the wedding reception of Luna and Maxime at the Four Seasons Hotel, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (30/7/2025), Kimberly was initially asked about the relationship between Nino Fernandez and Steffi Zamora, who also have an age difference.

1. Age Is Not a Determinant

Without a doubt, this mother of two emphasizes that age is not a determining factor in a relationship. According to her, age does not guarantee someone's maturity or adulthood in love.

"Age doesn't really determine anything, whether they're the same age or far apart, sometimes those who are far away don't necessarily mean they're more mature, more adult," she wisely stated.

2. The Relationship Between Luna Maya and Maxime Bouttier

She continued that maturity can indeed be possessed by someone younger, and vice versa. To strengthen her argument, Kimberly then directly referred to the happy couple that night, Luna Maya and Maxime Bouttier, who also have an age difference.

"Sometimes those who are closer are more mature, sometimes the younger ones are more mature. Just look at the ones getting married today, right?" she said, providing an undeniable example.

3. Attending a Wedding Alone

This was also evident from his answer when asked if he felt something was missing by attending the grand wedding alone.

"Not really, because it seems like there are a lot of friends inside, so, it’s fine," he replied casually.
