Laura Anna's Body Ashes Thrown into the Sea, Her Brother: It Was Her Last Wish

Kapanlagi.com - Today, Friday (17/12), the family of influencer Laura Anna scattered her 21-year-old body's ashes into the sea. This was apparently Laura's request as the beach and sea were her favorite places.

This was revealed by Greta Irena, Laura Anna's sister. She said that when she was alive, the deceased had mentioned this request, even if it was in a joking manner.

"She once mentioned it briefly, maybe not seriously like this, 'I think I want it like this'," said Greta Irene, Laura Anna's sister, after the scattering ceremony in Ancol, North Jakarta, on Friday (16/12).

"Because she loved to travel. She wanted to go anywhere she wanted in the vast sea, she really liked the sea, it was her happy place," she continued.

1. Laura Anna is no longer sick

Now Laura Anna's wish has been fulfilled by the family. For Greta, with the scattering of the ashes, Laura Anna is now free and no longer in pain.

"The last message is already a lot, so I don't think about it anymore. Laura is happy, free, and no longer in pain. She can go to the beach, go here and there. Let her body's ashes be the last thing I touch," she said.

2. The Family is Already Accepting

In addition, Greta Irene said that she and the family have already accepted Laura Anna's departure forever. They feel that Laura is no longer in pain.

"We have to accept it and it's also for her happiness. She wants to go on trips, go to the beach, and finally we went," she said.

3. Remaining Stored

In addition, Laura's cremated remains are still being stored at home. The plan is to move the ashes to a more suitable place.

"The remaining (ashes) are still at home, but we don't know when they will be moved, to a suitable place," she said.

4. Celebrity Influencers Participate

The family, friends, and acquaintances of the deceased arrived at pier 15, Ancol, North Jakarta, at around 10:00 AM. Laura's parents were seen ready to scatter the ashes of their beloved child.

Several celebrity influencers were also present at the moment. Figures like Fadil Zaidi and Keanu Agl were seen intending to witness the procession of scattering the ashes.

5. Scattering Procession

The ashes from the cremation have been prepared in a bag, and scattered flowers have also been prepared for the scattering procession. After waiting for almost an hour, the family finally boarded the boat provided for the scattering process and headed towards the middle of the sea to scatter Laura's ashes.

Upon reaching the middle of the sea, the family and several mourners were seen performing a pre-scattering procession, starting with Laura's parents scattering the ashes. The procession was then carried out in turns by other mourners.
