Furthermore, Herwanto believes that as a representative of the people and a political figure of the People's Representative Council (DPR), he should already be familiar with the concept of restorative justice. "Even in the circular from the Chief of Police, the perpetrator has already apologized, so he doesn't need to be detained anymore," said Herwanto as Adam Deni's legal representative.

"In fact, until now, it has gone to trial, if there is an apology, it should be about restorative justice, right?" he continued.

In this legal case experienced by Adam Deni, Herwanto questions the motive of a representative imprisoning his people and considers what interests he really wants to achieve. It is known that Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR, Ahmad Sahroni, admitted to having received Adam Deni's apology regarding the unauthorized document upload.

Although he has forgiven, Ahmad Sahroni requests that the legal process continue. Adam Deni himself has been named a suspect. In this case, he is suspected of committing the crime of uploading or transmitting electronic documents without authorization.
