Mafia Land Case Hearing with Former ART Enters New Phase, Nirina Zubir's Side Claims Satisfaction Because of This

Kapanlagi.com - The husband of Nirina Zubir, Ernest Cokelat, claims satisfaction with the progress of the mafia land case hearing involving his former ART, Riri Khasmita, held at the State Administrative Court (PTUN) in Jakarta, Thursday (4/7/2024). The hearing presented witnesses from the bank's side.

In the trial, Ernest was asked to present the forged Deed of Sale and letters that were made into certificates under the name of Riri Khasmita. The emergence of these certificates, according to Ernest, brought relief to the family, as the fake certificates were said to incriminate Riri Khasmita.

"In the courtroom earlier, the judges have been requesting the National Land Agency (BPN) to bring the forged Deed of Sale for several weeks. Which eventually became certificates under Riri's name. Finally, it was brought by the BPN, it is related to the 4 initial certificates that were returned to the family," said Ernest Cokelat after the hearing.

"So the judges really wanted to see which Deed of Sale was forged. It was finally presented in the hearing and it somewhat relieved the family that evidence was brought that could incriminate those who manipulated the documents," he added.

1. Report Notary Individuals

During the trial, Ernest was asked whether he had reported the notary individuals to the Honorary Council. The judge also questioned Riri about any outstanding debts with several banks, and at that moment, Riri, who is referred to as Nirina's husband, could not provide evidence of payment for the bank installments.

"Then, in the middle of the trial, the judge also mentioned whether these notary individuals had been reported to the Honorary Council. It is certain that the family will report the notary individuals who have been released. From the judge, there is already a hint that they should be reported immediately because they are related to the land embezzlement case involving Nirina's family," he said.

"And finally, the judges also explained that there are still outstanding debts from Riri Khasmita to several banks. Finally, when asked whether the installments to the bank had been paid, it could not be answered, my friend. Indeed, the judge eventually asked, where is the evidence of payment for the debt installments and the mortgaging of Nirina's family land? Finally, it can be proven, right? They cannot provide evidence of payment," he continued.

2. Satisfied with the Trial

Therefore, Ernest feels satisfied with the course of the trial. He believes that the law must be upheld even if it means facing the group he refers to as the land mafia.

"So I am very happy with the judges' attitude that there will be one more session before the conclusion," he said.
