'Merindu', Transformation of Tuty Darmawangsa as a Singer

Merindu, produced by SevenLeaf, was officially premiered on the YouTube channel "Cerita Tuty Darmawangsa'" on March 22, 2022, and the peak of the Sevenleaf management, under which Tuty Darmawangsa is sheltered, officially launched Merindu on March 4, 2022, at Benny Chandra's Raja Cafe Galaxy.

"Alhamdulillah, I'm very happy that it's finally released. This is my first song that I composed, arranged, and sang myself," said Tuty.

Tuty began her music career as a child, starting with performances at celebrations. She also experienced being a cafe singer.

The opportunity to pursue a professional career as a singer came in the 90s when Tuty released her debut album titled Stop.

After that, Tuty often sings songs with various genres, Rock, dangdut, reggae, keroncong to jazz.

Then in the 2000s when dangdut became the core music, she did not miss it by launching a song titled Cogan. Even Tuty also created a dangdut song entitled Rong Terong.

"Here I am challenged to be able to bring various genres of songs because I am also an entertainer who must be able to entertain the audience with the songs that I perform," she said.

6. Hoping to be Accepted by the Community

Tuty hopes that her song Merindu can be accepted by the community and always longs to be sung.

"Hopefully in my latest song, Merindu, it can be accepted by the community throughout the archipelago and Merindu will always make those who hear it always long to sing and listen to my work, Merindu Aamiin," she hoped.
