Mira Hayati 'The Queen of Gold' Now Arrested by Police Due to Her Skincare Products Containing Hazardous Ingredients

Mira Hayati, known as the Queen of Gold and the skincare boss from Makassar, South Sulawesi, has been arrested by the police. She was detained because the skincare products she released were found to contain hazardous substances.

According to Detik.com, BPOM Makassar discovered that the skincare product labeled MH Cosmetics contained mercury. This is why Mira and her husband, Fenny Frans Mutadir Dg Sila, were arrested by the police. Along with the two of them, Agus Salim, the owner of the skincare brand Raja Glow, was also arrested.

Mira Hayati's name became known to the public after she showcased a 1-kilogram gold piece that she bought in Saudi Arabia. From there, her name began to gain public attention due to her hobby of buying gold in massive amounts.

The Queen of Gold, that is how the public refers to Mira Hayati. Her name became known since 2023 and it was later discovered that she is the boss of a skincare factory with the label MH Cosmetics.

Hundreds of resellers are owned by Mira, not only in Makassar, South Sulawesi. Mira's resellers are spread across various cities in Indonesia, and her products are distributed throughout Sulawesi to Sumatra.

However, Mira is now in custody. She was detained by the South Sulawesi Police after the Makassar BPOM released findings of dangerous skincare products, one of which belongs to Mira.

In the findings of the Makassar BPOM, skincare products made by Mira and her husband were proven to contain mercury. The South Sulawesi Police conducted a lengthy investigation, until they finally named Mira and her husband as suspects in November 2024.

Although they have been named suspects, Mira and her husband were not immediately detained. After further investigation, the South Sulawesi Police finally arrested Mira and her husband on Wednesday, (22/1).
