Nikita Mirzani Attends Continued Hearing in Alleged Extortion Case, Remains Strong Despite Child Being Hospitalized

Kapanlagi.com - Nikita Mirzani returned to attend a follow-up hearing related to the alleged extortion and threats against doctor Reza Gladys at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (8/7/2025). Today's hearing was scheduled for the response from the Public Prosecutor (JPU) to the exception submitted last week.

Based on observations at the location, Nikita arrived at the court around 10:00 AM WIB with tight security from officers. Both of her hands appeared to be handcuffed as she stepped into the detention waiting room, marking her position as the defendant in the case.

The woman affectionately called Nyai appeared calm and smiled frequently while attending the court. She chose not to speak much to the media and only provided a few comments to show her respect for the legal process.

"To the prosecutor, I hope you are always in good health," said Nikita Mirzani when asked about the response of the Public Prosecutor (JPU) regarding her exception today.

2. Hoping the Exception Will Be Considered

In this hearing, Nikita hopes her exception can be taken into consideration by the JPU before moving on to the next stage. She wants this case to be processed with a conscience, without disregarding the values of justice.

"Thank you, I'm not (nervous) just normal. The hope is for the best, and I hope the prosecutor also has a good conscience," said Nikita.

3. Suing Reza Gladys Civilly

In addition to facing criminal charges, Nikita is also suing Reza Gladys civilly for alleged breach of contract worth Rp 100 billion. The civil trial is also scheduled to take place in the near future.

4. Wants to Attend the Mediation Process

As the plaintiff, she wants to attend the mediation process in person to present her lawsuit. She hopes the panel of judges will grant her permission to attend the trial in person.

"Oh yes, hopefully the judge will allow it," she said.

However, behind her toughness, Nikita harbors another anxiety that is not directly related to the legal matter. She admits to being worried because her third child, Arkana Mawardi, is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The condition of the child has deteriorated, making it difficult for him to undergo this trial, although he continues to try to remain professional and strong.

"I am still being treated at RSPI," he concluded.

7. The Beginning of the Alleged Extortion Case

For your information, this case began with a report filed by Reza Gladys to the Metro Jaya Police on December 3, 2024. In the report, Reza accused Nikita and Mail of extortion and threats that allegedly violated the ITE Law and Money Laundering Crimes.

After an investigation process, Nikita and Mail were named suspects. Both have been detained since March 4, 2025, at the Metro Jaya Police and are currently serving their detention at Pondok Bambu Prison, East Jakarta.
