Not Just Sacrificing, 10 Photos of Atta Halilintar Reveal His Involvement in School Repairs in Kupang - Called to Engage in Social Activities

Not just distributing sacrificial animals, Atta Halilintar also initiated the repair of schools in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). According to him, attention to education in remote areas of Indonesia is also important to advocate for, even though he is not a state official.

When met in the Ampera area, South Jakarta, on Monday (9/6/2025), Atta stated that this social activity is a form of real contribution as a member of society, outside the scope of government or formal positions.

"Alhamdulillah not only in Eastern Indonesia, this is the third one, insyaAllah there will be a mosque next, then another school and then another mosque. Yes, not just schools. Even though there are already schools that have been helped, we look for schools that need assistance, whatever we can do," he explained.

During his visit to NTT, Atta not only handed over sacrificial cows but also took the time to directly assess the condition of the schools that would be assisted. He even witnessed the limitations of the existing facilities himself.

Social activities like this, according to Atta, have become a part of his routine for the past few years. He feels called to help as much as possible from the results of his hard work.

"We'll see, we're still studying it as well. We try to set aside to share, hopefully this blessed money can be channeled well," Atta said about his long-term plans.

Although he is not an official, Atta receives many messages from the community requesting assistance for the construction or renovation of schools. This further motivates him to continue to get involved directly.

"Not really, Eastern Indonesia is cool or the people are nice and many tag me 'papa Ta there is this school, there is that school' I try to respond that I am not a member of the DPR or the Ministry so I can only help a little," he said.

Atta's involvement in Eastern Indonesia is not for the first time. Previously, he also managed to distribute aid in the form of tonnage rice to various regions including Papua and West Java.

His decision to come directly to the location, according to Atta, provides invaluable experience. In addition to witnessing the conditions of the community firsthand, he can also build emotional closeness.

"So sometimes there are comments from far away about how goats rarely get here. In the end, I really intended to go there directly, so I flew there for two days and asked my wife 'darling, I want to take the sacrificial animals there first'," said Atta.

The warm welcome from the community there also serves as a motivation for Atta. He feels appreciated and warmly welcomed even though the communication network there is very limited. "Even on that island, there is no signal, but they welcomed me so much. I'm really happy," he continued.

Atta hopes that the assistance he provides, no matter how small, can have a positive impact on the future of the children in remote areas. He wants to continue learning and getting to know Indonesia more deeply through his social actions.
