Berlliana Lovell, an Instagram celebrity and singer now known to the public, shares her inspiring life experiences. Berlliana recounts her past as a street musician after deciding to run away from home.
When asked about her earnings while busking, Berlliana revealed that she only made around Rp 20 thousand a day.
"In Bandung, 20 thousand. It gets divided up again," she said when met in the area of Jalan Rawa Selatan, Central Jakarta, on Friday (29/11/2024).

Although that amount is relatively small, Berlliana feels it is enough to meet her daily needs. "It's enough for me to eat twice and have coffee," she added.
The locations where Berlliana busks are varied. "In Bandung, at Leuwi Panjang. Usually in the bus, and I also stay at the Aperol food stall," she said.
Her struggle began when she had just graduated from high school and decided to live independently. When asked if she felt ashamed of her job as a busker, Berlliana firmly replied that she has never felt ashamed.Â
"No, because no one knows. I grew up in Bogor, then I moved to Bandung, no one knows. Plus, it wasn't like now, with social media and everything," she explained. Â
Berlliana even feels proud of her past. "I'm happy, I'm proud. Even to this day, I say that the reason I used to busk is that at that time, it was the happiest and most peaceful time of my life," she said. Â
She explained that happiness comes from the simplicity of life she was living at that time. "First, hobbies. Her hobby is music. And then, happiness comes from not having burdens in life, not thinking about anything, just thinking about what to eat today," she revealed.
Now, Berlliana enjoys her success and fame. However, she still remembers the valuable lessons from her difficult past.
"I used to live a hard life, and now everything seems easy, right? Even life is about fame. Oh yes, I am really grateful that I didn't live at the lowest point of my economy back then," Berlliana said gratefully.
Berlliana also expressed her gratitude to the people who have always supported her. "I am very thankful to God, definitely to my mom, and to my friends who are always there for me, supporting me, they really support me," she said.
