Police Examines Five Key Witnesses Related to Nikita Mirzani's Report Against Vadel Badjideh

Kapanlagi.com - The case of alleged sexual misconduct reported by Nikita Mirzani against Vadel Badjideh has now entered the investigation stage. The Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the South Jakarta Metro Police examined five witnesses today as part of the evidence collection process.

The Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Nurma Dewi, explained that the witnesses examined came from various backgrounds. "Today, the PPA investigators examined five witnesses. Three from the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, one doctor, and one security personnel from one of the apartments," said AKP Nurma when met at her office on Monday (13/11/2024).

The examination was conducted using a proactive approach. The PPA investigators directly visited the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection office to request witness statements. "After coordinating with the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, the statements were requested directly there," she added.

1. Witnesses From Several Professions

A total of five witnesses were examined today, including three from the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (PPA), a doctor who conducted an ultrasound examination, and a security officer from the apartment where the reported incident took place.

"The Ministry of PPA was examined as a witness, this was a submission from VA (Vadel Badjideh)," explained AKP Nurma.

However, AKP Nurma did not explain in detail the reasons for Vadel submitting witnesses from the Ministry of PPA. "Only the investigators know that. It is the authority of the investigators to request statements from witnesses, whether they know, saw, or heard the incident reported by NM," she revealed.

2. Follow-Up From Nikita Mirzani's Report

In this examination, one witness came from Nikita Mirzani's side, namely the apartment security. The rest are witnesses submitted by Vadel Badjideh. "One from NM, namely the apartment security," said AKP Nurma briefly.

This investigation is a follow-up to Nikita Mirzani's report regarding allegations of sexual misconduct against her child, Laura Meizani alias Lolly. The investigators are still delving into the statements from the witnesses to strengthen the allegations reported.

Although the witness examination has been conducted, Nurma has not provided information regarding the next steps. "Everything depends on the results of the investigators' investigation. We will provide further developments if there are any," she concluded.
