Tiko Aryawardhana is known to have responded to the summons of the South Jakarta Metro Police investigators for examination regarding the alleged embezzlement of Rp 6.9 billion reported by his former wife, Arina Winarto. Tiko received around 40 to 50 questions that the police asked him during the examination.
The question is about the alleged embezzlement reported by Arina Winarto.
"We have finished for today regarding witness testimony, witness from Mas Tiko. Today Mas Tiko was examined as a witness and thankfully it went smoothly," said Irfan Aghasar, Tiko Aryawardhana's legal counsel at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday (11/7).
"There were approximately 40 or 50 questions. Because this is a repetition of the previous investigative report, we corrected them one by one," he added.
Irfan also stated that during the examination process, they answered each investigator's question in a systematic and orderly manner. Starting from the flow of funds to the audit results used as evidence.
"We have discussed one by one. We answered one by one where the flow is going, the need for capital for business and we proved one by one that this flow of funds is proven in the bank statement," he said.
Irfan also hopes that his client's statement during the examination can shed light on this issue. At the same time, it becomes something new to refute the accusations made by the complainant.
"Of course, we hope that today's statement can provide further clarification or evidence or something new to refute all the accusations made by the complainant against our client, Mr. Tiko," he said.Â
