“Each post will be counted as a donation of one tree seedling that will be planted in the area of Candi Sambisari, Candi Banyunibo, and Candi Barong. In addition, actions and expressions of love for the environment can also be done through running and cycling activities, which will be converted into one tree seedling,” explained Tania.

In the upcoming Candi Darling From Home event, there will be a video series launch starring actor Ramon Y Tungka and nature activist influencer Alfira Naftaly Panglila, alias @anak_bebek.

Ramon Y Tungka, who is the host of the series, revealed that the Candi Darling From program is a new perspective in preserving the environment.

"In my opinion, this activity combines taking care of nature and can also be a historical tourism. Because we can also get to know the greatness of our ancestors through these temples. Furthermore, it is our duty to help maintain the balance of nature in the environment of these temples for their sustainability in the future," said Ramon.

2. Harapan Alfira Naftaly Pangalila

Besides Ramon Y Tungka, influencer Alfira Naftaly Pangalila also expressed hopes that the Candi Darling From Home program can achieve the target of 10 thousand trees and flowering shrubs to quickly beautify and provide shade for the 3 Candis.

“If they become more beautiful, they will surely be visited by many tourists once the situation improves. Hopefully, this good effort will receive a positive response from the community, especially young people,” said Alfira.

3. Target Penghijauan Candi

As for the target of the Candi Darling From Home activity, the younger generation will greenify the 3 Candis with 10 thousand trees and plants. The tree and plant seedlings are obtained from the Plant Breeding Center (PPT) of the Djarum Foundation in Kudus, Central Java.

Mutiara Asmara, the Communication Director of the Djarum Foundation, revealed that the Candi Darling From Home program is a challenging movement that involves the younger generation in preserving historical heritage, namely the Candis.

"“Candi Darling From Home is an initiative to continue the Candi Darling activity that has been carried out by the Djarum Foundation's Environmental Service since 2019, which will encourage young people to continue to care about greening the candi environment in innovative ways. Candi Darling From Home will facilitate young people in preserving candis in ways that are close to their daily lives and can be done from home. This program will be implemented until 2025 and is expected to cover greening of all candis in Indonesia,” said Mutiara.
