Singer Raisa has just released her latest album titled ambiVert under the banner of Juni Records. Behind the launch of this album, Raisa also shared a story about one of the most challenging songs for her to perform live. Here are the details.

Raisa mentioned the song "Terserah" as the most difficult song she has ever sung in terms of vocal technique. She revealed this during a press conference for the release of the ambiVert album in the Blok M area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (25/6/2025). "Definitely (the song) 'Terserah,'" said Raisa.

Due to its difficulty, Raisa admitted that she has not performed this song much on stage. She mentioned that the vocal challenges presented by this song make her quite selective when she wants to perform it live.

"I have sung that song live less than 10 times. The vocals are very challenging," said Raisa.

The album ambiVert itself represents Raisa's maturation as a musician as well as an expression of honesty in her work. She admitted to rediscovering her identity after taking on the roles of mother and wife.

"I have found out who I am again as a mother, as a wife. So what kind of woman am I now, after I have played these two roles?" Raisa said.

In her creative process, Raisa also tries to break free from various labels that have been attached to her. She digs into personal experiences and past wounds as material for writing songs.

The album ambiVert contains 11 songs and is produced by Lafa Pratomo and Rendy Pandugo. Two songs in it, "Ternyata Tanpamu (Cantik)" and "It’s Okay To Not Be Okay", also involve the late Gustiwiw in the writing and music production.
