Richard Theodore, a Social Media Influencer, Proud of His Summer Minibar that Can Provide a Better Life for His Employees

It all started when he saw his father, who used to work in an office in the Cikarang area, start a business selling grilled chicken that was loved by consumers. Richard was interested in following in his father's footsteps.

When starting his business, Richard also obtained a loan from an investor to start his business, but it was not easy because he was deceived. However, with the motivation from his family and to help cover his siblings' tuition fees, Richard's Summer Minibar has been successful. The Summer Minibar that he founded now has 80 outlets and employs more than 400 employees.

"It's not easy, I once got funding from an investor but got deceived. My parents were angry because I left my old job," said Richard in a recent release.

Richard Theodore explained that being an entrepreneur brings joy when seeing others have a much better life working in his company. Richard's dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur has come true, and he has also received several awards such as Best Young Entrepreneur ASEAN 2016, ASEAN SME Award 2016 for the Best Youth Entrepreneurship Award category, and the local Champion Teras Usaha Mahasiswa 2015 Bank BRI.

"There is a special happiness when seeing someone's life under my leadership become better," said Richard.

2. Hoping to Provide Benefits

3. Ever Been Deceived

Richard did not immediately succeed, he was once deceived by an investor. Richard borrowed money from an investor and was deceived. It started with a promise of a 40 percent share distribution by the investor, but the promise was never implemented.
