Sales of Skin Care Products Plummet Sharply, Party Reporting Mayang Fitri to Police Refuses to Reconcile

Kapanlagi.com - Reviews of facial care products conducted by Mayang Lucyana Fitri have resulted in a legal case. She was reported by Gil Gladys, the director of Tan Skin, whose product was allegedly mentioned by Mayang as the cause of her breakout.

After reporting Mayang on Tuesday (4/12/2022), Gil returned to the Metro Jaya Police on Wednesday afternoon (4/13/2022) to complete his report.

"Today we are not undergoing an examination. But providing additional evidence. The police requested the legality of the company, whether this product has been BPOM and additional information to state that this brand is already registered," said Machi Ahmad, the legal counsel for Tan Skin.

1. Giving a Deterrent Effect

The report made by Gil Gladys aims to give a deterrent effect so that reviews are not given carelessly. Because the impact received is a decrease in sales figures and consumer trust.

"The goal is to give a deterrent effect, now sales of skin care products have decreased," said Gil on the same occasion.

"Later, when we have undergone an examination, we will add evidence related to losses. So that investigators can determine or add Article 36 of the ITE Law regarding losses due to postings," added Machi.

2. Not Willing to Make Peace Yet

Gil Gladys has not thought of stopping the case as it has already been reported. Before reporting, an attempt was made to reconcile, but it was not responded positively.

"So far, no (willingness to make peace) yet. Because this is already in the realm of the police, we have to follow the process. It's a different matter if we haven't reported yet," explained Machi.

3. Already Given a Chance

Knowing that it has been reported, Mayang Lucyana Fitri's side is said to want to resolve the issue to avoid imprisonment. However, Gil Gladys said it was too late.

"Yesterday, they were given a chance to apologize, but it was not responded to and they did not make any effort to talk to Tan Skin or me. Instead, they came twice with a summons. That's why we have to take legal action," concluded Gil.
