Sarwendah's Party Responds Casually to Betrand Peto's Instagram Story Post

The Instagram Story posted by Betrand Putra Onsu or Onyo has recently garnered public attention amid ongoing issues between Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah. Despite sparking various speculations on social media, Sarwendah's party chose not to escalate the matter.

This response was conveyed by Sarwendah's legal counsel, Chris Sam Siwu, when met after visiting the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) on Thursday (25/6). According to him, the post made by the 21-year-old teenager should not be reacted to excessively.

Amid public scrutiny of the Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah family, Chris believes it is natural for a child or teenager to express their feelings through social media. Therefore, they do not view the post as something that needs to be debated further.

In addition, the main focus that is currently receiving attention from Sarwendah is the resolution of issues related to the interests of the children. They hope that the ongoing polemic does not escalate further and drag in other parties that are actually not the core of the issue.

Chris also emphasized that his side is trying to maintain the situation to remain conducive. According to him, a calm condition will be better for all parties compared to continuously prolonging the debate in public.

"Well, it's okay, it's still in a phase, what is it, adolescence. We approach it with the understanding that Onyo is, after all, still a child. They are still children, you know. So we just need to understand, I don't see it as a big problem, you know," said Chris Sam Siwu.

Onyo himself expressed his feelings. He mentioned that children should go home with their parents, not with others, while questioning the narrative of fighting for children that he believes is not in line with reality.

The Sarwendah side does not want to make social media posts a new subject of controversy. They prefer to see it as part of the dynamics occurring within a family that is facing issues.

According to him, both Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah want better conditions in the future. Therefore, he hopes that the public and media can help create a cooler atmosphere.

"So the point is just to ask for your prayers, okay? Ruben and Sarwendah are good people. So we will strive for good news, alright? That's it, please let this issue be resolved, our client just wants to live peacefully, it's also pitiful, okay," concluded Chris Sam Siwu.
