The Impact of Producer's Defamation, Ratu Sofya Experiences Significant Losses

The case of alleged defamation committed by producer Reza Aditya has indeed had fatal consequences for the career of Ratu Sofya. This young actress claims to have experienced significant material and immaterial losses after the producer's statements became widely circulated.

"There are definitely losses in terms of material and immaterial. There are brand contracts that seem to have been canceled as well. I will not mention the amount here, I apologize. Is that right, Sir?" said Ratu Sofya when met at Polda Metro Jaya on Saturday (6/6/2026).

Ratu's attorney, Zion Natongam Tambunan, added that the losses experienced by his client cannot be assessed fundamentally as they involve a long-established reputation. The reported party is deemed to lack good faith even though Ratu has attempted to follow the mediation process.

"What is certain is that our client feels the broad impact of the reported party's actions, both in terms of material losses and also immaterial losses that cannot yet be assessed fundamentally," said Zion Natongam Tambunan, attorney for Ratu Sofya.

"Because this matter has indeed dragged on and it is they who do not want to resolve it amicably with us," Zion continued.

Before pursuing legal action, Ratu Sofya's side had actually opened the door for communication. However, the agreement that had been previously discussed was instead violated by the producer's side during the finalization.

"We have had several discussions and meetings, and there has been some clarity on how to resolve this amicably. However, at the final point, they did not heed and did not implement the agreements that had been made," explained Zion again.

Queen Sofia also responded to claims from the production house stating that she did not want to be involved in promoting the film. She strongly denied these accusations and stated that she was only demanding her rights.

"I never said I didn't want to, but I just want to ask for my rights and an apology because they were wrong, that's all," asserted Queen Sofia.
