Senior actor Tio Pakusadewo revealed that his health condition had declined to the point where he had to undergo heart ring installation. This decision was made after he underwent a series of medical examinations due to persistent complaints he was experiencing.
"Heart ring installation," said Tio Pakusadewo when met in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (23/6/2026).
The initial symptoms experienced by Tio were not chest pain as is commonly seen in heart disorder patients. Instead, he experienced prolonged hiccups that did not stop for more than two months.
Initially, Tio did not suspect that the condition was related to a serious health issue. However, because it persisted, he eventually decided to undergo further examination, which revealed a problem with his heart.
"Hiccups, but for more than two months, you know. It just wouldn't stop," he said.
After undergoing stent placement, Tio began to adjust his daily activities to his physical condition, which was still in recovery. Nevertheless, he admitted that he did not make drastic changes to his lifestyle. In fact, Tio still enjoys his usual habits of drinking black coffee and smoking.
"Coffee, coffee. Still drinking coffee, still smoking. Black, right?" he said.
To aid the recovery process, Tio now regularly undergoes massage and performs light movements from his bed to keep his body active.
"Ehm, just massage. Yes, if exercising in bed, just moving my legs," he concluded.
In the horror film, she plays the character Indah, a village mother who knows various stories and gossip about Lastri.
