To Prevent Uterus Removal, Aida Saskia Hopes for Total Recovery from Breast Cancer After Undergoing 8 Chemotherapy Sessions

Kapanlagi.com - Aida Saskia has undergone breast removal surgery and chemotherapy three times so far. The 36-year-old woman said she still has to undergo chemotherapy eight more times to target and destroy breast cancer cells.

"So far, I've undergone eight chemotherapy sessions. After that, I'll be checked again," said Aida Saskia when met in Petukangan, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (17/5).

1. Hoping for Total Recovery

Therefore, Aida Saskia hopes to fully recover after undergoing eight chemotherapy sessions. Otherwise, she will have to undergo uterus removal.

"If I still have my period after the eighth chemotherapy session, I have to accept the loss of a part of my body. Because if the spread is vulnerable, uterus removal needs to be done," she said.

"If my period stops after chemotherapy, there is no need to remove the uterus. But I will be automatically diagnosed with menopause," Aida Saskia added.

2. Keep Fighting

Given this kind of trial, it is certainly very difficult for Aida Saskia. Moreover, she recently recovered from meningitis. Nevertheless, Aida Saskia will continue to fight to recover and be able to do activities as usual.

"Difficult, sad, heavy. But once again, I am someone who is trusted to go through all of this. Because Allah has entrusted me to be able to go through all of this. I am also required not to complain and regret everything that happens in my life," said Aida Saskia.

"There will be wisdom that I can learn, including breast cancer. Fate, marriage, and death have been predetermined by Allah, with me being sick with cancer, I can improve and prepare myself," she concluded.
