Trauma After the Case, Piche Kota Admits to Still Reducing Outdoor Activities

Singer Piche Kota revealed her current condition after briefly being a suspect in a sexual assault case in Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Although that status has been declared invalid through a pretrial ruling, she admitted to still working on recovering her mental state.

In her statement, Piche mentioned that her daily activities have now greatly decreased. She spends more time at home and has not yet returned to her previous routine.

"I rarely go out now, my daily life is mostly still at home and I haven't done anything yet. And it’s true what you said, there is trauma for me as well," said Piche Kota when met during a virtual press conference on Thursday (16/07/2026).

The experience during the legal process is said to have a significant impact. Piche admitted that he still needs time to interact again and engage in activities outside the home.

"So to start my activities or daily life, I might feel a bit traumatized, so I need time for myself again to be able to talk to others or to be in the world of other people out there," said Piche.

2. Hoping for Gradual Recovery

He also hopes that his condition can gradually improve so that he can return to engaging in activities as usual without being overshadowed by that experience. "Yes, I am trying because my mental trauma may still not be stable or something, I will definitely gradually be with friends like before, like usual, to be able to engage in activities again," he expressed.

3. Piche Misses Singing Again

In the midst of the recovery process, Piche also expressed his longing to sing again and perform in front of the public. He emphasized his desire to return to various activities as he did before.

"From me to all my friends, to all my media friends, maybe next I will definitely miss what I usually do, singing, whether off air or on air or whatever my activities are," concluded Piche.
