Vanessa Angel's Lawyer Reveals the Chronology of Xanax Administration, Out of Sympathy - There is a Doctor's Prescription

Kapanlagi.com - The trial of drug possession with the defendant Vanessa Angel was held last Monday (31/8/2020) at the West Jakarta District Court. After the trial, Vanessa's lawyer, Kemal Maruszama, discussed Vanessa's legal representation when she was involved in a prostitution case in Surabaya named Abdul Malik.

Kemal mentioned that Abdul should be made a witness in the next trial. Because Abdul's name was mentioned in the indictment by the Prosecutor's Office, where he provided Vanessa with five Xanax pills.

1. History of Heart Disease

Contacted by phone, Abdul Malik told about the ownership of xanax to him. Apparently, the medication is owned by a doctor's prescription related to the heart disease he has.

"I have a history of heart disease, there is one stent, so those medications are legally mine because there is a prescription, every time they run out, we immediately refill," said Abdul, Tuesday (1/9/2020).

2. Vanessa Asks for Xanax

While waiting for the trial, Vanessa Angel asked about the xanax medication. She asked Abdul for it but was not given because she did not have a doctor's letter.

"During the trial, she sat next to me, and she opened the medication. She asked 'Is this xanax?', I answered 'Oh yes, why?', she said 'I want it'. I said 'Don't, this is a prescription drug. Do you have a prescription?', she said 'Yes'. But I didn't give it to her at that time," explained Abdul.

3. Only Two Pills

In the next trial, Vanessa Angel brought a prescription for consuming xanax. So Abdul Malik only gave two pills, not five as widely reported.

"In the next trial, she showed the prescription, from Cinere if I'm not mistaken. Because of her humanity, she wanted to help, what's wrong with helping someone like that. Because she had a prescription for medication at that time, she had the same prescription as me. She couldn't buy it, so in the end, I gave her two pills," explained Abdul Malik.
