Warkopi Officially Disbands, All Three Members Will Star in a Feature Film in the Near Future

Kapanlagi.com - The Warkopi Group, also known as Warkop DKI KW, finally officially announced its dissolution today, Wednesday (13/10). However, the three members will continue to be in the entertainment industry as themselves, namely Alfin, Dimas, and Sepriadi.

Although they will no longer use the name Warkopi, the three of them stated that they will continue their careers under Patria TV. Not only that, it turns out that the three of them have also received contracts from a production house for a feature film.

"We would like to convey that currently Alfin, Dimas, and Sepriadi have obtained an exclusive contract from one of the major film companies in Indonesia. Therefore, we are currently working on it. In the future, we will provide the details. Please pray for us," said Aly Julys, the Public Relations of Patria TV, when met in Sawangan, Depok, West Java, on Wednesday (13/10).

1. No Longer Called Warkop KW

In addition, Warkopi stated that they disbanded after being pressured by the Warkop DKI Institution regarding HAKI. They even won't refer to their group as KW from the three comedy legends.

"So Warkopi doesn't exist, there is no Warkop KW, Alfin as Indro KW, Dimas as Kasino KW, Sepriadi as Dono KW. So from today, we officially disband Warkopi. So in the future, there will only be Alfin, Dimas, and Sepriadi," he said.

Previously, Warkop DKI gave a warning to Warkopi. Warkopi was asked to no longer use that name and change its name within seven days, starting from October 6, 2021.

Warkop DKI also firmly requested that Warkopi stop comedy content that seems to imitate the style of Dono, Kasino, and Indro. Indro emphasized that now Warkopi doesn't need to question the permit anymore because Warkop DKI firmly rejects it.
