Before the star performed, Selfi revealed that the song performed that night was a particular challenge for the participant from Bangka Belitung. "So Mae said, usually the star sings upbeat songs, but tonight the star was given the challenge to sing a slow song," said Selfi. The challenge was successfully met, earning praise from all three judges.

Soimah admitted to becoming increasingly curious about Bintang's progress after watching his two performances on Dangdut Academy 8. According to her, Bintang shows a seriousness to learn and continue to develop while participating in the competition.

"Bintang's two performances managed to steal my heart, including the song 'Menunggu'. If studied, his vocal nuances are quite enjoyable. I am starting to become curious about you moving forward. It seems like you are really determined to participate in this DA8 competition. It shows that you are really struggling, it shows that you are learning a lot," said Soimah.

Although giving a lot of praise, Soimah still conveyed some notes for Bintang. She asked the contestant to reduce the habit of sticking out his tongue while singing, as it is considered distracting to the performance. In addition, Soimah also suggested that Bintang's stage movements should not be too exaggerated, so they appear more natural.

On the other hand, Soimah praised the vocal style and improvisation displayed by Bintang because it is considered to have its own characteristics. "I find your unique vocal style. So when combined, it sounds really good. Keep learning, don't be arrogant, listen to your coach and the people who give feedback. Later if your performance isn't good, Mae will be angry, understand?" said Soimah, to which Bintang immediately replied, "Understood, Mae."

Nassar also appreciated Bintang's vocal quality. He even admitted to being surprised by the powerful voice that the contestant has. When asked if he was satisfied with his performance, Bintang stated that he still wants to continue improving himself. On that occasion, Nassar also asked who Bintang looks up to as a role model.

The contestant confidently named Valen as his idol. Hearing that answer, Nassar advised Bintang to not only achieve success but also maintain the quality he possesses. "Achieving that is difficult, but if the fortune is good, it can be achieved. The problem is whether it can be maintained after being achieved or not, that's the issue. Reaching is easy, maintaining is the hard part," said Nassar.

Meanwhile, before giving her comments, Dewi Perssik first sang a snippet of the song "Bintang Pentas". She then prayed that the name Bintang would truly become a reality in the entertainment world.

According to Dewi Perssik, overall Bintang's performance was very good, but the expression while singing still needs to be deepened. "A prayer from Mother for you, hopefully you'll become a shining star. But the shortcoming is the expression. There are levels to expression, there's a medium level, a level of deep hurt, and a level that's just ordinary. If earlier it was very tense, that needs to be reduced. These levels of expression need to be learned, because overall everything was good," said Dewi Perssik.

Thanks to her performance of the song "Menunggu", Bintang successfully received three Standing Ovations from Soimah, Nassar, and Dewi Perssik. This performance also underscored Bintang's development as one of the contestants who continues to show improvement and capture the attention of the judges at Dangdut Academy 8.
