Bhita's Journey to Dangdut Academy 8: 5 Hours to Palembang for the Audition

The journey to that dream stage did not come easily. To attend the audition in Palembang, Bhita had to take a long route with her mother. She recounts that the distance covered was about five hours, passing through rural areas.

"The distance is about 5 hours. So, we passed through villages and all. It was really far, Masya Allah," Bhita expressed when met at the Emtek Indosiar Studio.

Bhita is grateful because the struggle yielded results that she describes as extraordinary. That momentum continued in the Top 42 Group 5, where her performance received positive feedback from the judges and opened the way to the next phase.

1. A Long Journey to the Palembang Audition

Coming from Pangkalpinang, Bhita is determined to try out for the audition in Palembang. She made this decision as part of her effort to realize a dream she has held since childhood, which is to perform on the Dangdut Academy 8 stage.

She did not go through it alone. Her mother accompanied her throughout the process, from the journey to the preparations. This support became an important pillar when faced with the long distance.

The route taken to the audition location passed through several rural areas and took about five hours. Bhita conveyed the conditions of the journey, mentioning the distance and the paths she traversed to arrive in Palembang.

In her statement at the Emtek Indosiar Studio, Bhita reiterated how long the physical journey was that she had to undertake before finally being able to audition. She described the experience as part of the struggle that must be endured for her childhood dream.

She expressed gratitude because the sacrifice of time and energy yielded results. After passing the audition, Bhita returned to the stage in the next round and showcased her preparedness.

2. Top 42 Stage: Trio to Solo, Bhita Advances

On the Top 42 Group 5 stage, Bhita performed as one of the first acts last night. She maximized the opportunity by showcasing her abilities from the beginning of the session.

She first performed as a trio with Naela Banyumas and Danil Sumenep. The three of them delivered the popular song Gerimis Melanda Hati and performed in harmony.

The trio's performance received a Standing Ovation from all the judges present. This response was an early signal that Bhita's performance in this round was convincing.

After the trio session, Bhita returned to the stage solo with the song Bunga Pengantin. In this performance, she successfully earned three standing ovations from the judges.

The high notes she sang impressed the judges. This moment reinforced her position in the competition and confirmed the vocal quality she brought to the stage.
