"Thank God, almost healthy," said Jaja Miharja when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (21/7/2025).

1. His Recovery Accompanied by Strict Rules

This recovery process is certainly accompanied by a number of strict rules, especially regarding the diet that must be maintained. Jaja's father, known as a culinary lover, especially of goat meat, does not hide his frustration due to the many restrictions from doctors and family.

"Food restrictions. My father loves goat the most. The doctor said no, don’t. Don’t! When I’m not being watched, it’s okay (laughs)," he said.

2. Can't Let Go of Favorite Food

Although he admits to being annoyed by the existing restrictions, Father Jaja seems unable to fully let go of his favorite food. Responding to her father's honesty, his daughter, Vita, who faithfully accompanies him, provides further explanation.

"Actually, it’s allowed, just maybe reduce it. In the past, he was really indulgent," said Vita.

3. The Portions Have Been Reduced

Although she still occasionally seizes the opportunity, Vita emphasizes that her father's portions have now been drastically reduced. If before it was every day, now it’s maybe only a few times a week as a way to satisfy his cravings. Father Jaja himself finally admits that he has worked hard to reduce his old habits.

"No, now it has been reduced," said Father Jaja.

4. Must Undergo Foot Therapy

Apart from food matters, Vita also explained that her father now has to undergo therapy on his legs. There is a problem with the arteries in his legs that are loose, which is a result of his very busy activities in his youth.

"Now dad's legs are swollen with a bracelet, so his arteries are loose. The arteries have been like that for six months, if they don’t shrink, it has to be lasered all the way to the thigh, hopefully it won’t come to that. It depends on dad wearing it," explained Vita.

5. Striving for Full Recovery

Vita said that her father's enthusiasm for activities is indeed extraordinary, even sometimes difficult to control. According to her, if forbidden, Father Jaja might dare to go alone without the family's knowledge. His restless nature has become part of his character.

"If he's forbidden, he still goes out by himself with the driver. Where's Father? Nowhere. Suddenly after going out, eating," said Vita.
