Duet Azzio-Rama Achieves 3 SO in D'Academy 8 Despite Melly Lee's Absence

In the comment session, Soimah asked Gege, the choreographer, about the rehearsal process that made them perform cohesively on stage.

"Actually, I was nervous backstage, thank God we were in sync. During the rehearsal, Rama was still offbeat, he was lagging behind the tempo. Basically, if we want to pass, any progress, no matter how small, has to be shown to the judges, so I always remind Rama," Gege replied.

On stage, the role of support for Azzio and Rama was taken over by two senior students, Tasya Allesia and Zahra Sima. Both accompanied the preparation until the duet performance.

After the duet, Soimah highlighted how Rama looked graceful while dancing along to the song. Before giving her assessment, she first gave Rama the chance to share his opinion on stage.

"I want to ask Rama first, are you happy to have been given the chance to dance?" asked Soimah.

"Very happy," said Rama.

The fact that Rama was slightly offbeat during the GR was also mentioned by Gege, but the cohesion was demonstrated when performing on the main stage. This aligns with the choreography coach's strategy to show any progress, no matter how small, to the judges.

4. Praise for Azzio and Advancing to Top 31

In addition to highlighting Rama, Soimah gave special praise to Azzio, who was considered stable in vocals and focused while moving on stage.

"Your note control is good, your power is also good, and what I noticed about Azzio is that his concentration is great, keep that up. Sometimes it can be dangerous if the quality is good but he is not focused, that can break apart," said Soimah.

At the end of the session, it was announced that both Rama and Azzio advanced to the Top 31 of Dangdut Academy 8. The schedule for the next performances will be announced soon.
