Kapanlagi.com - Diva, a participant of Dangdut Academy 8 from Kuantan Singingi or Kuansing, has been declared to have advanced to the next round from the Top 37 Group 3. Diva performed in a trio format with Razki & Rofia, fellow students of coach Melly Lee. Performing the song Kerinduan, they received all SO from judges Lesti Kejora, Dewi Perssik, and Soimah.
After the trio performance, Diva sang the song Semakin Sayang Semakin Kejam solo. Apparently, during this performance, Diva also received praise from the judges. Dewi Perssik was one of the judges who immediately praised Diva's solo performance.
"Already beautiful, petite, cute, still young, has a good voice, the feeling of the pain is really conveyed, it feels just right. The improvement is not much but just right for me," said Dewi Perssik.
However, Dewi Perssik reminded Diva to maintain her consistency and not to be complacent with the praise.
"Learn from coach Melly, stay motivated. Usually, when praised for being beautiful & having many fans, they tend to forget," continued Dewi Perssik.
Thanks to her performance, Diva is declared to have advanced from Group 3 Top 37 to the next round. Not much spotlight and not favored, Diva is referred to as one of the 'dark horses' in Dangdut Academy 8. It is not impossible that Diva will become a competitor among the academicians who are predicted to go far in Dangdut Academy 8.
