Zhifanna from Pesisir Selatan Advances to Top 31 D'Academy 8, Sweeps All SO!

This achievement was reached after her performance in Top 37 Group 6, where she performed the solo song Mataharimu and received three Standing Ovations (SO) from the judging panel.

At the age of 16, Zhifanna came with a strong motivation to make her parents happy. Under the guidance of D'Coach Selfi Yamma, she aims to become widely recognized by the public and reach the Top 2. Before focusing on dangdut around 2023, she often participated in pop singing competitions in her hometown.

1. All SO in Group 6 Takes Zhifanna to Top 31

The Top 37 stage of Group 6 on Friday, August 7, 2026, became a pivotal point for Zhifanna in D'Academy 8. She performed in two sessions: duet and solo, and successfully maintained the consistency of her performance throughout the night.

In the opening session, Zhifanna duetted with Melani from Sidrap. Both, who are in D'Coach Selfi Yamma's team, sang Ilalang popularized by Machicha Mochtar. This duet received three SO from the judges on duty, namely Lesti Kejora, Wika Salim, and Soimah Pancawati.

In the solo session, Zhifanna performed Mataharimu, which is famously sung by Sridevi DA. This performance again yielded All SO and secured a direct ticket to the Top 31 round. From Group 6, she advanced alongside Rama from Cirebon, while Niswah from Pemalang had to bow out.

In addition to the judges' voting results, personal appreciation was also heard on stage. Lesti Kejora expressed that she is a fan of Zhifanna, affirming the positive impression she showed that night.

2. From Final Audition to Golden Ticket

Zhifanna's journey in D'Academy 8 began at the Final Audition of Indosiar. At that time, she performed Doaku and managed to touch the hearts of the judges. She received three SOs, placing her as one of the golden ticket recipients.

During that session, Wika Salim praised her singing style, which was considered like talking to the audience, with a performance described as almost perfect. Dewi Perssik noted that her voice color was very touching, while Soimah mentioned that the performance left a lasting impression on her.

The positive results in the audition became a foundation that continued into the following rounds. The consistency of three SOs reappeared in Zhifanna's performances after the audition, affirming her competitive readiness on the D'Academy 8 stage.

3. Top 42 Round and Goals with D'Coach Selfi

After the audition, Zhifanna advanced to the Top 42. In this round, she duetted with Revalina from Palangka Raya singing Sekali Seumur Hidup. This collaboration also received three SOs from the judging panel.

Under the guidance of D'Coach Selfi Yamma, Zhifanna set dual goals: to expand her recognition in the public eye and to break into the Top 2 of D'Academy 8. Support from her coach became part of the process of strengthening her technique and stage interpretation.

Her background, which was initially more familiar with pop competitions, changed around 2023, coinciding with the era of D'Academy 6, when she began to seriously delve into dangdut. Her main motivation remained the same: to pursue a music career while making her parents happy.
