The girl, who is part of Team Melly Lee, received an All Standing Ovation (All SO) from the judges. Lesti Kejora, Wika Salim, & Soimah unitedly gave SO to Alexa who performed solo with the song titled Mawar Ditangan Melati Dipelukan that night.
Lesti Kejora was the first judge to praise Alexa's performance. The wife of Rizky Billar was also happy to experience nostalgia with the old song that Alexa performed again.
"First of all, thank you for singing this song because it has made us nostalgic with it. It was truly amazing. Alexa, watching you earlier felt like watching a concert, you know?" praised Lesti Kejora.
"Perfect, everyone should be ready like this, ready to compete," continued the mother of three.
1. Praise From Wika Salim
After Lesti Kejora, it is now Wika Salim's turn to explain why she gave a standing ovation to Alexa's performance. Wika Salim stated that Alexa was very confident that night. Wika believes that Alexa could deliver the song with a relaxed demeanor.
"Yes. Relaxed, right? Very relaxed. Her confidence was just right," said Wika Salim.
2. No Gaps
Soimah Pancawati, a judge known for often giving sharp criticism, praised Alexa's performance to the skies. Soimah stated that Alexa performed perfectly, especially in the high notes, and there were no missed notes.
"From the beginning, her voice was very rich. The voice was rich, pleasant, soft, and gentle. But when it came to the high notes, they were very clean. All the notes and notations were spot on. There were no gaps for us to look for what was missing," said Soimah.
Thanks to her stunning performance, Alexa was declared to have moved directly from Top 42 Group 3 to the next round in Dangdut Academy 8.
