Nur Bayan Proud of the Song 'Widodari' Competing with BTS' 'Permission to Dance'

This has made the songwriter, Nur Bayan, happy and proud. He did not expect that the song he created with Denny Caknan could compete with BTS' song.

1. Project with Denny Caknan

According to Nur Bayan, Widodari is a special project of his with Denny Caknan. The collaboration started from their meeting a few months ago on the TV program "The Next Didi Kempot" on Global TV.

"Denny Caknan and I became judges, and that's where the idea came up to create a song together. This song tells a story about happiness after rising from adversity, where happiness is finding a partner, symbolized as an angel or "Widodari" in Javanese," he said.

2. Originally in Indonesian

Nur Bayan added that the single Widodari was originally made by him in Indonesian, then rearranged by Denny Caknan by incorporating Javanese language.

"Initially, I made it entirely in Indonesian, then Caknan changed it by incorporating Javanese language, and the result is extraordinary," said the campursari artist born in Kediri on June 14, 1983.
