Previously Insisting Innocence, Lucinta Luna Finally Regrets His Actions in Front of the Judges

Kapanlagi.com - The trial process of Lucinta Luna's drug case is nearing its final stages. The plan is that next week, the verdict reading session will be held to determine the official punishment that will be imposed on the singer of Jom Jom Manjalita.

As known, the Public Prosecutor's Office (JPU) previously demanded that Lucinta be sentenced to 3 years in prison. However, Lucinta herself still stubbornly denies that the illegal drugs found in her apartment are not hers.

"First, she was charged with 3 years because she committed 2 criminal acts involving psychotropic drugs and narcotics. Then her legal advisor submitted a defense. Because she wants to be free, the prosecutor asked for time to prepare a written response," said Eko Aryanto, the spokesperson for the West Jakarta District Court when contacted by telephone on Wednesday (9/23).

1. Lucinta Luna Regrets Her Actions

If up until now she tended to oppose the accusations made against her, during the hearing on Wednesday (23/9) yesterday, Lucinta was said to have regretted her actions. However, a different attitude was shown by her legal counsel who continues to fight for justice for his client.

"Earlier, Lucinta was asked if she felt guilty, and she did, but her legal counsel didn't. She regretted it earlier. Yes, she admitted guilt and regretted that it won't happen again, because there is no more time for a final defense, next week there will be a verdict," concluded Eko.

In the previous hearing, the Public Prosecutor's Office (JPU) stated its rejection of Lucinta Luna's plea. In response to the JPU's statement, Lucinta Luna's legal counsel, Irma Angesti, expressed disappointment.
