The child singer who went viral while singing at the Palace, FP, responded to the case involving his father. He sent a special message to his father who is now in prison due to an online gambling case. This was revealed by Farel during his visit to his father at the Banyuwangi Police detention center.
"I hope dad can learn from his mistakes, I hope dad can change, and be better than before," said FP on Friday (13/6/2025), as reported by Liputan6.
It turns out, FP admitted that he was not surprised by his father's actions. Therefore, he hopes his father will truly improve himself to become a better person.
"If I personally, I'm not surprised. Because my father was wrong, what can I do? That's why I hope my father can fix himself and learn from his mistakes," explained FP.
As additional information, Joko Sutoyo, FP's father, was arrested by the Banyuwangi Police Criminal Investigation Unit on Tuesday (10/6/2025). He was arrested due to an online gambling case.
The suspect had indeed been under surveillance for a long time. At that time, he was caught playing online gambling of the Mahjong type while guarding a grocery store in Kepundungan Village, Srono, Banyuwangi, East Java.
When examined by the police, evidence of gambling activities, transaction records, and online gambling conversations were found on the suspect's phone.
"According to his confession, the suspect has been actively playing online gambling for several months. The reason is to fill his free time while watching over the grocery store," said the Head of Criminal Investigation, Kompol Komang Yogi Arya Wiguna.
