Sahwan's Struggle Towards D'Academy 8, Accompanied by Friends and Fully Supported by His Parents

The 20-year-old youth said that the struggle to reach the D'Academy stage was an unforgettable experience. He is grateful to have loyal friends who have accompanied him since he began the audition.

"Wow, the struggle has been extraordinary, truly amazing. The hard work is incredible with my friends, basically. They drove me," said Sahwan when met at Studio 5 Emtek City, West Jakarta, Friday (3/7/2026).

Not only friends, but both of his parents also provide full support so that he can pursue his dream of becoming a dangdut singer. Sahwan admitted that the family feels proud because he can bring the name of Madura to the national stage.

"Alhamdulillah if my parents are very supportive of me for the audition. Madura has a new star," he said.

2. Valen Becomes an Inspiration

Entering the Final Audition stage, Sahwan is determined to make the most of this opportunity to continue learning from the judges and mentors. He hopes to develop into a better singer.

"I just have to learn and learn, to be like Valen. I just sang with Valen," he said.

Now, Sahwan is focused on preparing himself to give the best performance in D'Academy 8. He hopes to make his family and the people of Madura proud, and to continue moving forward to the next stages.
