Kunto Aji Invites to Build New Habits Through Urup 2025, Welcoming the New Year Better and Positively

Entering its second year of organization, Urup 2025 will be held for 2 days on December 31, 2024, and January 1, 2025, at Asram Edupark, Yogyakarta.

In this event, participants can enjoy music but also engage in self-reflection through a series of activities such as Mindful Eating, Relaxation Music, Urup Class, and of course, a performance by Kunto Aji on the first morning of 2025.

Not only that, participants can also camp, watch movies, and shop at the Urup Market which sells various items from SMEs to support local products and sustainable environmental awareness, thereby growing together physically, mentally, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.

Regarding the purpose of creating Urup 2025, Kunto Aji stated, "The initial idea for the Urup concert was why don’t we create a concert that actually teaches the audience to build good habits together. Starting from something small like fixing sleep schedules, which is very fundamental for physical and mental health."

"Since the concert is in the morning, people have to sleep earlier. The best moment to start a new habit is during the new year, because everyone has resolutions to begin good habits. Therefore, the concept of Urup was created," he explained.

The Urup 2025 celebration is also family-friendly, enjoyable for children to adults, and even facilitates those who want to start a healthy life in 2025 by exercising.

2. Collaborating with Many Parties to Celebrate the Event

"We are setting up a jogging track, so if you want to come in sportswear and run on the prepared jogging track, please do. We do not set a dress code for the audience. So, no one should feel burdened by their appearance to come to Urup 2025, what matters is that everyone is comfortable," he expressed.

Kunto Aji will collaborate with many musicians for the Relaxation Music session. He is also partnering with JAFF (Jogja-NETPAC Film Festival) as the curator for the film screening, Jiwa Jawi, which will present the culinary interpretations carved in the Borobudur reliefs, as well as the Pasar Wiguna community to fill the Urup Market.
